FAQs
Is the NSCFH part of UofA?
The NSCFH is housed at the University of Arkansas, and received initial seed funding through the Chancellor’s Fund for Innovation and Collaboration, but the University of Arkansas does not direct the activities of NSCFH.
Do I have to be part of UofA to participate?
No, you do not have to be affiliated with the University of Arkansas to participate. Our goal is to support collaboration outside of the University as well as within. There is a place for community members, businesspeople and policy makers here!
How do collaborations occur?
Our searchable database and newsletters allow affiliates to find and connect with new partners working on similar projects. Our Annual Symposium also provides in-person opportunities to link up with inter-disciplinary and inter-sector collaborators.
Is there a cost to participate?
There is no cost to become an affiliate and be listed in our directory. Attending our Annual Symposium does require a registration fee though we work to keep costs as low as possible, and some scholarships are available.
